Introduction

Several projects are currently being developed by Prof. Jose Maria Madiedo in order to study meteoroids and the parent bodies of these particles of interplanetary matter. For this purpose, several automated meteor observing stations have been setup in order to monitor the interaction of these particles of interplanetary matter with the Earth's atmosphere. In addition, a system to detect impact flashes produced by the impact of meteoroids on the Moon's surface is also in operation.

This website describes some of these research projects, together with some of the most relevant results obtained so far.
